- Comments are moderated. This is to minimise spam and prevent people from breaking the below rules. It is _not_ to censor people who do not agree with me. I am in fact a grownup, despite what my cartoons and more drunken posts suggest, and I do welcome other viewpoints.
- Obviously spam is forbidden. There is no advertising of any sort on this site.
- Linking your comment back to your own blog, or _relevant_ urls will not be treated as spam. That shit is seriously OK.
- No abusing other guests, if you don’t know them personally. Do not use my blog to abuse people you don’t know on the internet. This is called Being a Dickhead, and there’s plenty of other sites where you can do that. Virtually any MMO discussion forum, for example. Try to be respectful of other guests. Even if they’re total fucking morons. It’s okay if you try and fail then though.
- You can say whatever you like to me - with the two exceptions that no threats of any kind should be made, and no false or even unfounded allegations should be leveled. For example, you may certainly accuse me of being an opinionated jerk (plenty of evidence of that), but you may not accuse me of raping your little sister unless you have evidence (good luck, the little bitch promised never to tell if I wore a rubber), and you may not threaten or even suggest that harm my come my way for being said opinionated jerk (or allegedly raping said sister, who wanted it anyway). All threats will be traced to the source and dealt with in legal terms at my convenience, ditto all Libel. Typing abuse at me is ok though - I do post controversial things that offend people, and I expect some anger sometimes. Don’t expect me to respect your feelings in return though.
- You can use any word of the english language in your comments, including swear words. This extends into obscure words, and even colloquial words which are not yet accepted in any dictionary, and even words you make up so long as you provide the meaning, or it is syntactically obvious. English is extensible.
- Comments should be posted in english though - please recognise that I and most of my readers are pig-ignorant westerner fatheads with no idea about the rest of the world. We simply will not understand you if you use those other scribbly language thingos.
- Try to recognise that while a lot of thought goes into these posts, much of what I write is aimed at entertaining as well as provoking thought. As such, a lot of ‘tone’ and sometimes even the content is tongue-in-cheek - IE not to be taken too seriously. I noticed a long time ago that if I write in a purely neutral tone about subjects most people do _not_ want to hear about, they simply never read past the first two sentences. Whereas people who feel something is directed at them, and possibly ‘having a go at them’ (Australian expression meaning ‘to criticise’), they can’t stop reading, even if they are accidentally Getting The Point.
